Custmo cabinets
for Heidelberg presses
Shown is a table mounted cabinet unit for a Heidelberg press with a lacquer unit at Schwitzer in Vejle, Denmark.
The cabinets and drawers are painted in the same colour as the Heidelberg press and mounted on legs to bring the work surface as close as possible and in line with the press.
One section’s top has a sink built into the cabinet to allow easy cleaning of cylinders from the lacquer unit for example. Below the sink is a drawer specifically for storage of extra screen cylinders.
The table has modules with a slide and a drawer for waste disposal. Schwitzer is using 2 separate cabinet units.
Flexible, practical and durable configurations
The Custmo modular system is very flexible. All of the drawer modules can be organized according to the specific needs and work processes involved. The other key characteristic of Custmo cabinetry products is the durability provided by the stainless steel plate used to make the cabinets and drawers.
A complete customized solution consists of storage modules inclusive of the special storage equipment for the specific tools and accessories related to the press. Once the sections are assembled, the cabinet top also serves as a long sturdy steel work surface.
Modules
There are 2 modules to each cabinet section. Each module can ideally fit the needs of a specific press and its workflow. 8 different types of cabinet modules have been designed with printers’ needs in mind.
Once the types of modules are chosen based on specific needs, 2 modules in each section are assembled and delivered for final assembly on site.
Having 2 modules for each section allows for 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 modules to match space and storage needs.
Each module is constructed of 2 mm rust-free powder coated steel plates and include a section cabinet top made also of steel plate with a 22 mm wood core for a durable sound insulated work surface.
Drawers
Each of the drawers slide on high quality steel ball bearings and are capable of holding loads up to 70 kilos even when fully opened.
Accessories
A lot of standard accessories can be accomodated in the Custmo modules. For Heidelberg presses, having a sink is desirable to facilitate cleaning of screen cylinders. Below the sink is an ideal area for cleanly storing screen cylinders and keeping them out of harm’s way. Shelves and drawers in modules can be configured to your specific needs.

Choose your colour
Powdered enamel colour coatings allow for colour choices to match your press, or office colours. The coatings also allow for easy maintenance and clean up.
